Whoever the fuck said ‘Money doesn’t buy happieness’ was full of fuckin’ shit.

I’m sure some people can be financially destitute and still manage to crack a smile, but I’m pretty sure they aren’t really all that happy. Personally, I couldn’t imagine being truly happy without having a good amount of cash.

Why this sudden blah-blah about money? Well, I dunno - guess I’ve just been in such a good place financially in recent times, I’ve noticed just how much easier it is to smile. Not having to really think about where the money to pay the bills is coming from takes so much stress off a person.

So much of life is about bringin’ home the bacon I can’t imagin how someone could be really happy without cold hard cash to get rid of the stress.

Holy CRAP - it’s been nearly 2 weeks since I’ve had time to bitch about something.

Well, the real world decided to dump a load of good fortune on me this month and it’s really been a bit time consuming - 14 hour days, 3000+ minutes on my mobile and few hundred miles in rental cars.  I could bitch about it, but well - I’m greedy and absolutly love the money, so any aggrivation the extended hours cause fades away when I look at my bank statments.

I do miss bitching, er… blogging.  I’ll have to dedicate hour 15 to do that for the next few weeks.

Parents … What can I say. They start out life able to install software using MSDOS 3.3+, things get easier and easier, windows ask them questions and tell them what to do, but they seem to loose the ability to comprehend even the most simplistic tasks.

My father was, once upon a time, a rather technology savvy guy. We were the first on our block to have a Video camera, the first to have a home PC and in general technology was abundant at our house. Our business, a bar/nightclub type thing, had some pretty amazing audio/video equipment — all of it configured by the man himself.

Sadly - now he can’t even order a damn printer for himself. He doesn’t grasp the differences, he’s afraid to make the wrong choice … It’s goddamn depressing! Am I headed down this same road? Is this the Simpson Men Syndrome? Will I get more and more technologically inept as I get older?

I swear - if I start to become a technophobe in my older years, I’m jumping off the highest ledge I can find.

I’m not sure where, exactly, this classy place is. I’m not sure I’d be able to eat here without feeling nauseous - at least you wouldn’t have to go far to worship the porcelaine.

What can I say? It’s CES week and I’m feeling tech.

So, yeah - I’ve got this friend. Great girl, but every time we go out, she looses her keys. You may recall a short while back I had to kick her door in at some crazy hour ’cause she lost her keys….

Ok, so tonight, I decide that I’ll be the one responsible for the keys.

Kids: Don’t ever be responsible for the keys.

I lost ‘em. I’m pretty sure I know where it happened, but … Man, do I feel like an ass.
